The One True Secret to Success (And It’s Not What You Think)
🤫 The One True Secret to Success (And It’s Not What You Think)
Hey, 3M Coaching family!
About three months ago, one of our legacy clients, Alex, got into a bit of a pickle.
Alex had just completed an amazing transformation and was crushing his maintenance
phase. He was feeling great, looking great, and everything was clicking🔥.
Then, life happened: he hurt his shoulder.
As it often does, the injury snowballed. The physical pain led to inaction, and the inaction led to stress, and before he knew it, Alex found himself in a slump. 😣
We didn't give up. We started working on his shoulder activation and did everything we could to maintain his hard-earned progress while his shoulder healed. It was a frustrating period, but we kept the foundation alive.
Fast forward to a month ago. Alex’s shoulder was finally better, and he needed a restart. 💪
We revamped his meal plan and his workouts to give him a fresh, clean slate.
It has only been a month since that restart, and Alex is already back on track and absolutely rocking it. In fact, he’s only been fully back at it for 2-3 weeks, and he is
already showing definition in his midsection again.

The Message We All Need to Hear
I am telling you this story because of a message I sent to Alex during his check-in this week.

It’s a truth I think we all need to be reminded of every single day.
There is ONE COMMON DENOMINATOR that separates the winners, whether it is in your career, in business, or in fitness. That one thing is the ability to get back at it.
It is so easy to blame genetics or life situations outside our control and give up. But the reality is, those things will always happen. Life will always throw curveballs. Even if you are a professional athlete, you will eventually find yourself at a friend's wedding, right before a competition, with a giant piece of cake sitting in front of you.
🔑 The key to long-term success is not to be perfect. The key is to get back on it when life happens.
What Will You Do?
When you mess up, or when an injury sidelines you, or when stress derails your week. The most important decision you make isn't what you did wrong; it's what you do next.
Remember, YOU ARE A WINNER 🏆.
What will a winner do when life happens?
Will they let it snowball into a month, or a year, of inaction?
Or will they get back on their feet and get back into it with new force?
I think we all know the answer.
Let's get after it this week!
